RIVER VALLEY GROUNDS REDESIGN

We have an exciting project that is just getting underway - creating a Comprehensive Grounds Redesign Plan for our exterior space! We all know the issues we have with flooding when we get a lot of rain and we are so grateful for your patience as we try to find solutions. We don’t want to just fix one thing though! Rather, we are using this opportunity to reimagine our school campus as a vibrant place for students to learn and play. 

As is evident when we look back at pictures from our founding year, our playground equipment is also celebrating its 25th Anniversary. The goal of the Comprehensive Grounds Redesign Plan is to look closely at our campus and understand how we can create an outside space that meets our needs including: play and learning spaces, gardens and greenspace, stormwater management, and parking and traffic flow.

At the end of March we hired Copley Wolff to be our Landscape Architects and we are so excited to get our comprehensive site design process underway!

We are looking to our community to help us build a vision for the future! Please join us for VISION! Our community visioning session on April 30th from 5:30-7:30pm! You can RSVP Here! This is an open house, drop in style, student friendly event and the team at Copley Wolff will help guide our community through a visioning session! We will have light refreshments so your RSVP helps us get a sense of how many people are coming.
