School Lunch
River Valley Charter School does not belong to the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program but still makes a healthy lunch available to every child in the school every day that the school is in session through a contract with an outside lunch provider. Lunches are prepared and delivered daily. (*River Valley does not have an onsite cafeteria.)
Families may purchase lunch online, or via phone, with Cormorant, in Newburyport, the school's outside lunch provider. (Families are provided with a web-based link to the vendor in order to access a specially designed and priced lunch menu created for River Valley Charter School students only.) Lunch orders need to be placed by 7:00pm the night before. You can order up to two weeks in advance. Order Here
Alternatively, children can bring lunch to school. All students eat in their classroom.
In keeping with our commitment to holistic education and ecological stewardship, we encourage families to make healthy food choices and to minimize trash by using reusable containers for lunches.
